Group Lessons – Learn to Ride Program
Discover a new passion and make new friends in the process.
Our Learn to Ride Group Program is the perfect way to start your riding adventure. Whether you are completely new to horses, or had a little bit of experience – this is the program for you.
Riders will start from the ground up in an indoor setting. Learning the basics of properly handling the horse as well as grooming and tacking. In the riding portion you will learn how to properly control the horse in the walk and trot while working your balance, position and confidence.
Ages: 8 years old & up
Program Duration: 7 or 8 Weeks
Class Length: 1 hour per week
( plus 30 minutes before and after your lesson time for horse care )
Class Size: Groups of 8 students
Location: Meadowlarke South in Mississauga in a indoor setting
Fee: $390plus HST for 8 week program
$350plus HST for 7 week program
Proper equipment is mandatory for participation in the program – ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet, English riding boots and a crop.
Equipment Rental
Helmet/Crop/Boot Rental – $40 for the 7 or 8 weeks
Helmet/Crop Rental – $29 for the 7 or 8 weeks
Boot Rental – $20 for the 7 or 8 weeks
Equipment is also available for purchase at The Equine Emporium, conveniently located on-site at Meadowlarke Stables.
